The short version

Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, or fake profiles. Don't share illegal content. You're 18+. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users — we remove it and the people who post it. We're not responsible for what other users do or say.

How we chat here

Be decent. Talk to everyone the way you'd want your own family spoken to.
No sexual comments, jokes or requests — in rooms or in direct messages. Sexual messages get the account banned straight away, with no warning.
Don't ask for girls, "female friends", numbers or "friendship". lahorechitchat is a chat community, not a dating site. Those messages are removed, and people who keep posting them are banned.
Don't push. If someone doesn't reply to your message, leave it.
Respect every religion, sect, ethnicity and gender.

Izzat se baat karein. Ghalat baat, larkiyon ki demand ya number maangna — seedha ban.

1. Agreement

By using lahorechitchat.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms — if changes are significant, we'll notify you.

lahorechitchat (lahorechitchat.com) is owned and operated by Asad Khalil, who also publishes the official lahorechitchat apps for iPhone and Android. These terms are an agreement between you and Asad Khalil.

2. Age requirement

You must be 18 years or older to use lahorechitchat.com. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. If you provide false age information your account will be terminated. Creating accounts on behalf of minors is strictly prohibited.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure
You're responsible for all activity on your account
One account per person — multiple accounts may be suspended
You must provide accurate signup information
You may not transfer or share your account

4. Community Guidelines

These are the rules for using lahorechitchat.com. Breaking them can lead to warnings, message removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

✅ Allowed

Friendly conversation, banter, jokes
Sharing photos of yourself, places, food, art
Talking about life, relationships and friendship
Opinions on music, gaming, tech, lifestyle
Sharing recipes, food spots and drama recommendations
Reporting other users who break rules

🚫 Not allowed

Harassment, bullying, or threats against any user
Hate speech based on religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or nationality
Sexually explicit content, nudity, or solicitation — and sexual comments or requests of any kind (an immediate ban)
Asking for girls, women, "female friends", phone numbers or "friendship" — this isn't a dating site
Spam, mass-messaging, advertising, or selling services
Fake profiles — pretending to be someone you're not
Catfishing using stolen photos
Sharing other people's personal information without consent (doxxing)
Illegal content including drugs, weapons, violence
Child safety violations — any content involving minors
Scams, phishing, or asking for money
Hacking or abusing the platform's systems
Hate against Pakistan or Lahore — keep it positive

5. Reporting violations

If you see content that breaks these rules, click the 🚨 button on the message or contact jaunty.mellifluous@gmail.com.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on lahorechitchat. Accounts that post it are removed and banned from signing in again.

We act on every report of objectionable content within 24 hours. That means we review it, remove the content if it breaks these rules, and remove the user who posted it where warranted. You can also block any user immediately yourself — you do not have to wait for us. Their messages disappear for you straight away, and every block is also sent to our moderation team to review.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on lahorechitchat.com.

6. Blocking other users

You can block any user from contacting you. Blocked users can't see your profile, send you messages, or interact with you. You can unblock at any time in your settings.

7. Content you post

You own your content — chat messages, photos, voice notes
By posting, you grant lahorechitchat.com a license to display your content on the platform (so other users can see it)
You're responsible for content you post — don't share anything illegal, copyrighted (without permission), or someone else's private information
We may remove content that violates these terms without notice

8. Coins and virtual goods

lahorechitchat.com uses an in-app coin system. Coins:

Are not real money and cannot be exchanged for cash
Are non-transferable between accounts
Have no real-world monetary value
May be earned for free through daily activity
May be sold in the future; in the iOS app, any coin purchase will be made only through Apple
Are non-refundable once spent on features (such as keeping a voice note)
May be forfeited if your account is terminated for violations

9. Meeting people you met online — safety

lahorechitchat.com is a community platform. We don't verify all users and we're not responsible for interactions that happen between users on or off the platform. Use common sense:

Meet new people in public places for first meetings
Tell a friend or family member where you're going
Don't share financial information, bank details, or send money to anyone you've met online
Trust your instincts — if something feels off, report it and block them

10. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, with or without notice. You can delete your own account anytime in the app (More → Delete My Account) or by emailing us. After deletion:

Your profile becomes invisible to other users
Your data is removed within 30 days (except as required for safety records)
Coins on your account are forfeited
Your direct messages, voice notes and photos are removed

11. Service availability

We do our best to keep the site available but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may take the site offline for maintenance. We're not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

That other users are who they claim to be
That conversations will be private from determined attackers
Any specific outcome from using the platform

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lahorechitchat.com and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which for most users is zero, since the core service is free).

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lahore.
