Zero tolerance
lahorechitchat.com has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors. Accounts involved in this activity are permanently removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.
Who can use lahorechitchat
lahorechitchat is an 18+ platform. Every account must confirm they are 18 or older and agree to our Terms of Service before they can send a single message. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to hold an account, and any account found to belong to a minor is removed on discovery.
How we prevent and detect abuse
- Age gate at signup — every new account must affirmatively confirm they are 18+ before joining.
- Automated image scanning — every photo uploaded to chat is automatically screened by an AI content-moderation system before it can be posted. Images flagged for sexual content involving minors, or other sexual or graphic-violence content, are blocked and deleted before anyone sees them.
- User reporting on every message and every image — any user can report a message, an image, or another user in a single tap, at any time.
- Community-driven takedown — an image reported by multiple, distinct users is automatically removed and the uploader is placed in a timeout while our team reviews the account.
- Blocking — any user can block another user; this is enforced on our servers, not just hidden locally, so a blocked user cannot continue contacting them.
- Human review — reports involving suspected CSAE are escalated for manual review, not left to automated systems alone.
What we do when we find it
Where we identify apparent CSAM or CSAE on our platform, we:
- Immediately remove the content and disable the account responsible;
- Preserve relevant records as required by law; and
- Report the material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or relevant law enforcement, as required under applicable law.
Report a concern
If you encounter content or behaviour on lahorechitchat that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately:
- Use the Report button (🚨) on the message, image, or user directly in the app — this reaches our team fastest; or
- Email jaunty.mellifluous@gmail.com with as much detail as you can provide.
We treat every child-safety report as urgent and review it as a priority, separate from routine moderation queues.
